Omnis Studio lets you build all types of applications for the Web or Mobile, in a much shorter time and with fewer resources when compared to many other application development tools. There are many thousands of application developers across the world taking advantage of the full range of capabilities of Omnis Studio, and the support services that we provide, but we are very keen to bring Omnis to a much wider audience. This is why we created the ‘Omnis Academy’, and more recently why we started to provide the training courses ONLINE and for FREE, so many more application developers can try Omnis Studio – we are sure that having tried it, you will immediately see its many advantages, so do sign up!
The online training courses cater to a whole range of application development tasks, from the basic starting point of creating a new application or project, to more advanced topics – the full range of courses include:
- Omnis Studio “Basics” in Developing Web and Mobile Apps – great for developers new to Omnis, or existing users moving up to Studio 10.
- Omnis Studio Database Connectivity – learn how to connect to a SQL database and create queries.
- Developing a Messenger App in Omnis Studio – learn about ‘Push’ technology and a bubble UI.
- Enhance your Omnis Apps by Implementing a menu system – creating perfect navigation for your app.
- Enhance your Omnis Apps by Implementing a REST Service Client and Server – enhance your apps by accessing third-party Web Services.
- Develop Standalone Mobile Apps – create apps for iOS or Android that can work off-line if needed.
You can complete any of the courses you wish, and in any order, but if you are new to Omnis, then we recommend you do the “Basics” course first. The online training courses are available in English and German, and there are many dates scheduled throughout June – the English courses are available for European and North American customers taking place at convenient times in both CEST or EDT time zones.
