In October 2016, the Omnis business was purchased by OLS Holdings Ltd, a UK company owned by a number of Omnis developers and distributors.

• March Release of Omnis Studio 11.0 Rev 36251 with bug fixes and some enhancements for development and UI design.
2023
• December Release of Omnis Studio Now – a new additional service for developers on ODPP and maintenance which enables them to have immediate access to new features and bug fixes rather than having to wait for general releases of Omnis Studio.
• October Patch Release Omnis Studio 10.22 Rev 32066 with support for macOS Sonoma plus various enhancements to increase the security of deployed libraries as well as some improvements to JavaScript components.
• October Release of Omnis Studio 11.0 Rev 35659 with support for macOS Sonoma plus various enhancements improving the security of deployed libraries and enhancing the JavaScript and Window components for development and UI design.
• August Release of Omnis Studio 11.0 Rev 35439 with bug fixes and some enhancements for development and UI design.
• May Launch of Omnis Studio 11.0 with a completely new UI and IDE and many new UI Controls for mobile, web and desktop applications.
2022
• November Release of Omnis Studio 10.22 Rev 31840 certified for macOS Ventura. This revision also includes some enhancements in JavaScript Forms & components, OAUTH2 Worker & the iOS Wrapper.
• October Release of a free developer license, the Omnis Studio Community Edition including a free 5 users web server license and free tech support.
• August Release of Omnis Studio 10.22 Rev 31664 providing small enhancements in JavaScript components, Window components, PDF printing, functions and other features. Plus this release provides native support for M1 and M2 (arm64) based Apple computers.
2021
• November Release of Omnis Studio 10.2 Rev 31315providing native support for M1 (arm64) and Intel (x86_64) based Apple computers. Plus this release is certified to run on macOS 12 Monterey.
2020
• November Release of Omnis Studio 10.2 focussing on speeding up the development of web, mobile and desktop apps and on enabling developers to build even more attractive applications with an improved user experience. It includes a wealth of new and enhanced UI controls for JavaScript and for desktop apps.
2019
• September Release of Omnis Studio 10.1 with a greatly enhanced Editor, important improvements in the fabulous Omnis Debugger, new UI components and animations for more attractive and user-friendly apps.
• May Release of Omnis Studio 8.1.7; maintenance release including bug fixes and minor enhancements including a new set of templates matching the default components in the Component Store.
• January Release of Omnis Studio 10.0 containing a brand new Code Editor, full WACG 2.0 Accessibility support. Remote Debugging and many new and enhanced JavaScript controls.
- January/March 2018 Release of Omnis Studio 8.1.4 and 8.1.5 containing enhancements to the OW3 Worker object, drag and drop for external files onto window class fields, and a small addition to themes.
- November 2017 Release of Omnis Studio 8.1.3 containing JavaScript Rich Text Editor component & the OW3 Worker Object and enhancements to the HTML Window control.
- September/October 2017 Release of Omnis Studio 8.1.1 and 8.1.2 containing minor enhancements, a new IMAP worker object in OW3, updates to the JSON Component Editor & enhancements in the SQL Query builder. - August 2017 Release of Omnis Studio 8.1 providing GIT support, JSON controls, a new Welcome intro, Push notifications for mobile apps, responsive forms and a “headless” Linux server for deployment.
- February 2017 Release of Omnis Studio 8.0.3 including support for SQLite Encryption, macOS Dictation, Apple Events, JavaScript Map Markers & Page Panes as well as Push Notifications for Worker objects.
- October 2016 The Omnis business was purchased by OLS Holdings Ltd, a UK company owned by a number of Omnis developers and distributors. Release of Omnis Studio 8.0.2 including new wrapper for Windows 10 mobile apps, new custom loading indicator, enhanced Rich Text editor control, worker objects, web services and method editor enhancements.
- March 2016 Release of Omnis Studio 8.0 & 8.0.1 providing 64-bit and Cocoa support for OSX, enhanced App Builder, new Developer Hub and Code Assistant plus support for high definition displays, JavaScript drag-and-drop, color themes and support for auto-updates.

- 2008 Raining Data Corporation renamed TigerLogic Corporation. Release of Omnis Studio 4.3.1 with improved support for Windows Vista, Library conversion and IDE enhancements and Universal Oracle DAM for Mac and PostgreSQL enhancements.
- 2007 Release of Omnis Studio 4.3 including support for PostgreSQL, Windows Vista and Mac OS X “Leopard”, the .Net framework, Unicode, VCS, Linux and graphing enhancements.
- 2006 Release of Omnis Studio 4.2 including native support for Mac-Intel and introduction of Web Services Component.
- 2005 Release of Omnis Studio 4.1 including support for Unicode, new Graph Component, batch fetching, enhanced Java Object capability.
- 2004 Release of Omnis Studio version 4 including support for MySQL, JDBC, Java Objects, brand new environment and enhanced team development.
- 2000 – 2003 Omnis released Omnis Studio 3.0, 3.1, 3.3 web client executing local events, multi-threaded application and database server access.
- 2000 Omnis Software merge with PICK Systems to become Raining Data Corporation, specializing in Enterprise Solutions for businesses.
- 1999 Released Omnis Studio for Linux making Omnis the first development tool available under Linux, Windows, and Mac.
- 1999 Released the Omnis Web Thin Client for browsing your data and applications on the internet or your intranet.
- 1997 Released Omnis Studio, first cross-platform, cross-component application development environment that lets you integrate native and external components. Company renamed Omnis Software Ltd.
- 1992/93/94 Released Omnis 7 v1, v2, and v3 in consecutive years, the first fully integrated development environment providing client/server access to many industry standard server databases such as Oracle, Sybase, and Informix.
- 1989 Released Omnis 5, the first cross-platform development tool for building applications under Windows and Mac.
- 1987 Released Omnis Quartz, the first GUI database for Microsoft Windows. (Omnis 3 Plus version 3.25 generally available).
- 1985 Released Omnis 3 Plus, one of the first database generation tools available for the Mac (received a British Design Award in 1988). Company renamed Blyth Software Ltd.
- 1984 The Apple Macintosh was introduced.
- 1984 Omnis 1, 2 and 3 were released together in April 1984 as a suite of Omnis products. Omnis 1 (“the file manager”), was intended to be an easy to use way of handling simple data, i.e. non-relational data. Omnis 2 (“the information manager”), was similar to the original Omnis but had more programmability. Omnis 3 (“the database manager”) was designed for programmers and business owners to build their own customized applications. Omnis 3 was one of the first cross-platform database application tools for Apple computers and IBM compatibles running under MS-DOS.
- 1982 Blyth released its first “Omnis” product, a database application tool for the Apple 2 designed by David Seaman and written using Apple Pascal. Omnis was also developed at the time using the UCSD Pascal environment which enabled a simple port over to other popular machines of the time.
- 1979 Paul Wright co-founded Blyth Computers Limited (later renamed Blyth Software, then Omnis Software) in Wenhaston, Suffolk, in the UK, which became the first Apple dealership in East Anglia. Early on he recognized the Graphical User Interface was the future for desktop computers and business software.
