Is there a minimum term for ODPP memberships?
The ODPP offers a wealth of services that are useful over time or at different points in projects. These include, for example, consulting services, discounts on licenses, free updates and much more. Therefore, the minimum term of an ODPP membership is 12 months.
I see there are different levels of ODPP memberships. Can I switch from one level to another one if my requirements change?
Yes, the ODPP levels are scalable. You can switch to a higher level at any time when you need more products or services.
If you want to upgrade your ODPP level please contact your local Omnis sales office.
How can I renew my ODPP membership?
Your ODPP membership will renew automatically unless you terminate it no later than 6 weeks before the end of your current membership period.
I understand my initial membership term is 12 months. Do I have to pay the membership fee for one year in advance?
You can choose between paying your ODPP membership fee monthly and annually. When paying the fee annually you will save 20 %.
Most ODPP levels include some free consultancy services. This is very interesting for us. How does this work in practice?
From TEAM I level on, certain consultancy services are included in the ODPP scope of supply and services which can be provided onsite, remotely or in one of the Omnis offices. Travel expenses for our consultant are not included in ODPP and will be charged if consultancy is provided onsite.
For additional professional services ODPP members are granted significantly reduced daily rates as listed in the ODPP contents overview.
The free consultancy services include in your ODPP level are valid for a current membership period only and cannot be carried forward to the following membership period.
I see that ODPP includes ‘preferred, personal tech support’. What does it include and what is the difference to a Platinum Support Service?
ODPP was designed to provide you with the optimum of support and service for your Omnis app development projects. For us, superior technical support is a key element for your success. Therefore ODPP provides you with unlimited access to our tech support – there is no limitation with regards to the number of cases or the time it will take to help you on a certain issue. Support cases from ODPP members will be prioritized so you will receive a response from our support team in the shortest possible time.
Tech support will be provided to ODPP members in the best suitable way for the particular issue – by phone, email, in online sessions, remote debugging and/or by providing individual sample code to illustrate the best solution.
Does Omnis Technical Support guarantee a solution?
The Omnis Support team will make all efforts to resolve your issue. However, there can be different reasons why we may not be able to fully resolve your issue. This can especially be the case in a heterogenous environment that includes various other software products. Therefore we cannot guarantee a solution of your issue.
In case we won’t be able to provide you with an acceptable solution we will always try to provide you with a workaround or recommend an alternative approach.
